We’re seeking a Family Time Worker to support children and their families through safe, supportive, and therapeutic family time sessions. Working part-time within Staffordshire’s Families and Communities service, this role is perfect for someone who values work-life balance while still making a real difference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange and supervise family time between children and parents/relatives, as directed by the court.
  • Offer guidance and support to parents, encouraging positive parenting and safe family interaction.
  • Record detailed session notes and observations to support care planning.
  • Provide transport for children to attend family time sessions when required.
  • Work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends, to meet families’ needs.
About You
  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in working with children and families.
  • Have direct experience working with children and families in supportive or safeguarding environments.
  • Be empathetic, patient, and resilient, with an understanding of trauma and child development.
  • Have excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
