Family Support Worker – Wigston (Full-Time)
Location: Wigston & across Leicestershire
Salary: £14.83 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week

Sanctuary Personnel are recruiting for a dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team in Wigston. This full-time position (37 hours per week) will involve working across Leicestershire, supporting children and their families through structured, court-directed contact sessions.

This role is vital in ensuring children are able to maintain safe and meaningful relationships with their families, while always prioritising their wellbeing. You will provide a supportive presence during supervised sessions and deliver clear, objective feedback to professionals involved in each child’s care.

Key Duties
  • Supervise and facilitate family contact sessions as directed by the courts.
  • Safeguard the welfare of children throughout every session.
  • Record observations and produce accurate written reports for social workers and other professionals.
  • Collaborate closely with children’s services to support positive outcomes.
  • Travel across the county to provide consistent, high-quality support.
