📍 Location: Harlow, CM19
💰 Pay: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour
⏰ Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Day shifts only)

Are you passionate about supporting families and making a real difference in children's lives? Minerva Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Family Support Worker in Harlow (CM19) to join a dedicated team at a Family Assessment Centre.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with families during their assessment process, offering hands‑on support, guidance, and encouragement to help them move forward in a positive and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support families with day‑to‑day routines and parenting tasks during assessments
  • Build positive working relationships with parents to help them address challenges
  • Provide practical advice and emotional support to both parents and children
  • Contribute to and follow care plans to ensure children's safety and wellbeing
  • Keep clear, accurate records and reports on family progress
  • Work alongside other professionals such as social workers and healthcare staff
  • Offer hands‑on care and supervision, particularly with babies and toddlers
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience working with children, families, or in a childcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Calm, professional, and compassionate in challenging situations
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
  • Passionate about making a positive impact on families' lives
  • Experience in early years or similar hands‑on care with babies and toddlers is essential

Family Assessment Centres focus on supporting parents in caring for their young children and helping them build strong, healthy relationships.
