A youth support organization in the City of London is seeking a Family Support Practitioner to assist young people aged 11+ during critical years. This role involves building trusting relationships, conducting assessments, and providing tailored support to families facing challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of adolescent behavior and a passion for working creatively within the community. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people and their families.
Are you passionate about supporting young people aged 11+ through some of the most challenging and important years of their lives? Do you understand the complexities of adolescence and want to make a meaningful impact on young people, their families, and their communities?
The organisation is expanding their Family Help Adolescent Service and are looking for a committed and creative Practitioner to join them. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, forward‑thinking service that places contextual safeguarding and adolescent‑centred practice at its core.
As a Family Support Practitioner, you will work directly with adolescents and their families to reduce risk, strengthen relationships, and improve outcomes. You’ll support young people who may be experiencing harm outside the home, including exploitation, peer influence, and community‑based risks. You will work flexibly and creatively, using approaches that resonate with young people and reflect their lived experiences. You will work closely with schools, community partners, and multi‑agency networks to create safer environments for young people.
