A charitable organization for children in Glasgow seeks a Family Support Coordinator to enhance service delivery and support vulnerable children and families. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in multi-agency environments, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to making a positive impact. This full-time position offers an annual salary of £31,900 and various benefits, including annual leave and training opportunities.
Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership have commissioned services based in Glasgow to work alongside families in a flexible and strengths based way to help them achieve positive outcomes. As part of a city-wide strategy, the service will promote the wellbeing of children and young people aged 12+ years to support them to stay at home and thrive with their families within their local communities by offering the right support at the right time.
Our shared vision is to support children and young people to live with their parents and siblings, or where this is in the best interest of children, with their extended family, enabling them to grow up in their community with their friends, and attend their local school.
To help us deliver on this vision, we’re currently looking to recruit a Family Support Coordinator—a key role that will help shape and strengthen our support for families across Glasgow. If you're passionate about making a meaningful difference and have the skills to lead, collaborate, and innovate, we’d love to hear from you.
Wherever you work in the Action for Children family, you'll be helping to change the lives of the most vulnerable children in the UK.
Last year, we helped more than 670,000 children and families across the UK. From direct work in communities to national campaigning, we are focused on ensuring every child has a safe and happy childhood, and the foundations they need to thrive.
Working here is more than a job. Everyone in the Action for Children family is passionate about protecting and supporting children. It's the sense of purpose that drives us every single day. Because we know that, when we work together, we can make a huge difference to bring lasting improvements to vulnerable children's lives.
Please note we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
