Job summary

St Mary’s Catholic High School is inviting applications for a key pastoral support role to develop, implement and deliver programmes that ensure our students’ wellbeing and attendance. You will work in school and off-site with multi-agency partners to support families and remove barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will be resilient, caring and tenacious, with recent experience of working with young people and families across public, private or voluntary sectors, and a sound knowledge

Qualifications

• Recent, positive and demonstrable experience of working with young people and families in the public, private or voluntary sector.
• Sound knowledge of pastoral care, safeguarding & child protection.
• Resilient, caring and tenacious with a proactive, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Work in school and off-site with multi-agency stakeholders to deliver and implement a programme of support.
• Develop and implement outreach work to enhance relationships with families and improve attendance.
• Contribute to the personal and pastoral development of students.
