Job summary

Simpson Judge seeks a Family Solicitor (NQ to junior PQE) to help launch a new office in Leicestershire or Nottinghamshire. You will handle private family matters under supervision, developing your caseload while contributing to the local presence of the firm.

You will work closely with an Associate Solicitor and the established Family team to provide clear advice, manage cases, and engage in networking to build client relationships in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in private family law is essential.
• Newly Qualified or junior PQE considered based on ability.
• Strong client care and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of private family matters with supervision.
• Handle divorce, financial remedy and private children matters.
• Prepare legal documentation and correspondence.
• Liaise with clients, other solicitors and third parties.
• Assist with case progression and local business development.
