SJC Partners are currently assisting a high-quality, client-focused firm with a strong reputation, including a Legal 500 recommendation for their family law team.
The Role
- Advise and manage a broad spectrum of family law matters, including divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships, financial settlements, child arrangements, maintenance, cohabitation, prenuptial/cohabitation agreements, and domestic violence/injunctions
- Conduct face-to-face meetings (where needed) and remote consultations
- Work with clients through negotiation, mediation, and where necessary court proceedings
- Prepare documentation, negotiations, advocacy and representation in court (depending on experience)
- Act in accordance with the Resolution Code of Practice and promote constructive solutions
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of service, client care and professionalism
The Firm are looking for
- A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in family law (3 years plus PQE)
- A strong communicator with excellent client care skills
- Organised, self-motivated and able to manage your own caseload
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Minimum 3 years PQE with strong technical ability
in family law
- Experience in financial remedy and private
children matters essential
- Confidence in managing HNW and emotionally
sensitive cases
- A discreet, compassionate and commercially
minded approach
- Desire to contribute to business development and
the continued growth of the department
- Assisting and working alongside senior solicitor
