Family Solicitor | 4+ PQE | Norwich

A strong opportunity to join a well‑established regional practice with one of the largest and most respected family teams across East Anglia. This is an important hire within a directory‑ranked department known for complex financial and children matters, a constructive ADR‑focused approach and a supportive, client‑centred culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take on a central role within a sizeable, multi‑office family team, managing your own files while working alongside senior colleagues on higher‑value or more complex cases.

  • Handling a varied caseload across financial remedies, divorce and separation, children matters, cohabitation disputes and domestic abuse work
  • Advising on cases involving businesses, pensions, farms, property portfolios and other family‑owned assets, often in collaboration with corporate and private client teams
  • Taking early responsibility for client meetings, drafting, negotiations and progressing matters with clear, practical guidance
  • Working constructively to resolve issues wherever possible, with the opportunity to develop and apply ADR skills
  • Supporting senior lawyers on complex financial cases, international children matters and cases requiring urgent court action
  • Playing an active role in business development, networking and building your profile across the region
About You

You’ll bring strong technical experience, emotional intelligence and a balanced, calm approach to challenging situations.

  • 4+ PQE in family law with broad experience across finance and children matters
  • Ability to manage your own caseload with confidence and good judgement
  • Clear, empathetic communication skills and a commitment to constructive resolution
  • Comfortable with client‑facing responsibility and progressing matters proactively
  • Interest in developing specialist areas, such as complex finance, ADR or children work
