Who we’re looking for

• Qualified Family Solicitor / Partner – 4 to 20+ years PQE
• Experience in divorce and financial remedy work
• Exposure to private children matter
• Advocacy experience
• Comfortable working with HNW and complex cases
• Keen to support junior lawyers and engage in business development (Desirable)
• Friendly, empathetic, and a team player

What you’ll be doing

• Manage your own caseload of family matters including divorce, finances, children, and cohabitation issues
• Deliver clear, compassionate legal advice to clients
• Represent clients in family proceedings and attend court where needed
• Help mentor and guide junior colleagues
• Contribute to business development and help strengthen the team’s presence in York
• Initially office-based, then hybrid working with 2 days from home once settled

Salary & Benefits

• £55,000 – £65,000, depending on experience and level
