A regulatory organization is seeking a Family Lawyer for an 8-week contract to provide legal advice related to Family Court information and proceedings. The role requires prior experience in family law and familiarity with litigation. This position offers an hourly rate of £26.02 PAYE or £35.31 Umbrella, with hybrid working available for local candidates.
An opportunity for a Family Lawyer to support the legal team of a regulatory body. This is an 8-week contract, to join the in-house team, who provide practical legal advice across the organisation, particularly to the fitness to practise, registration and education quality assurance teams.
This role will focus on the identification of and use of Family Court Information within their fitness to practise proceedings. You will provide advice regarding obtaining and using Family Court information and make applications to and conduct litigation within the Family Court, where appropriate. Other work may include advising on commercial contracts, data protection and employment law.
To be considered for the role, you will be an experienced Lawyer, ideally with previous experience of family law and are familiar with Family Court proceedings. Candidates from regulatory and/or fitness to practise backgrounds will also be considered.
This is an 8-week assignment therefore candidates must be available at short notice. On offer is an equivalent salary of £50,066 which will be paid on an hourly rate, either PAYE or Umbrella. This is a 37-hour working week, and will be a remote working role, but should you be based near the office (Sheffield), you can work on a hybrid basis.
PAYE - £26.02 + £3.78 holiday per hour
Umbrella - £35.31 per hour
