Job summary

Kingsgate Recruitment is seeking a Family Law Paralegal for a Bristol-based role. The position welcomes graduates or those starting their legal careers, offering exposure to a broad range of family law matters and to work closely with experienced solicitors.

The candidate should be organised, professional and eager to develop within family law. Prior paralegal experience is desirable but not essential, and strong graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supporting solicitors with a varied caseload of family law matters
• Assisting with the preparation of legal documents, correspondence and court documentation
• Conducting legal research and providing support on case preparation
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, barristers and other relevant parties
• Managing case files and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
• Attending meetings and taking accurate notes where required
• Assisting with the preparation of bundles and other court-related documents
• Providing general administrative and paralegal support to the wider team
• Maintaining high levels of client care and confidentiality

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Law Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded specialist family law firm in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate or an individual looking to begin their legal career within family law. You will work closely with experienced solicitors and have the opportunity to gain valuable hands‑on experience across a broad range of family law matters.

The successful candidate will be organised, professional and genuinely interested in developing a career within family law. Previous paralegal or legal experience is desirable but not essential, and applications from strong law graduates are welcomed.
