Locations: Wavertree Family Hub (17.5 hours)
Fountains/Anfield/Everton Family Hub (17.5 hours)

Number of Positions: 1 full or 2 part time

Salary: £25,185 per annum (pro – rate for part time)

Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Contract: 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2027

We are looking for enthusiastic and community-focused Family Hub Navigatorto join our team.

You will be the first point of contact for families with children aged 0–19 (up to 25 for children with SEND), offering advice, guidance and signposting to Family Hub services, local community support and city-wide services. You will also play a key role within the Family Hub reception team, ensuring families feel welcomed and supported.

This role is available as full-time or part-time/job share, offering flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support families to register and engage with Family Hub services
  • Provide advice, guidance and effective signposting
  • Carry out outreach and community engagement activities
  • Build positive relationships with partner agencies
  • Maintain accurate records and use data systems
  • Support reception duties including telephone and admin tasks
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety and data protection procedures

If you would like to meet this challenge and have :

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Early Years, Health & Social Care, Youth Work, Advice & Guidance or similar
  • English and Maths GCSEs (or Functional Skills equivalent)
  • Experience working with children, young people and families
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS (to be undertaken)
