A respected charity organization in the United Kingdom seeks a dedicated individual to lead family engagement services at HMP The Verne and HMP Portland. This role involves delivering family-focused casework, managing the Visits Centre to ensure a positive visitor experience, and promoting the well-being of prisoners and their families. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and have experience working in a multi-agency environment. Pact is a highly respected independent charity that works across England and Wales to develop and deliver a range of innovative services, providing practical and emotional support to prisoners’ children and families and prisoners.
Purpose: To lead the delivery of Pact’s family engagement services at HMP The Verne and HMP Portland - in line with contractual requirements, the prison’s operational and security arrangements, and in accordance with Pact’s own practice standards and its operating policies, processes and procedures.
To deliver family-focused casework services including assessments, advocacy, structured interventions, case reviews and facilitating visits (both in person and online).
To manage the Visits Centre and its staff to ensure visitors have a positive visitor experience.
