Lochaber Hope invites applications for a Family & Community Support Coordinator (Job Share) based at the Lochaber Hope Community Hub in Fort William, with outreach across Fort William and Lochaber. This fixed-term role (1 year) offers 12-13 hours per week with flexible weekend/evening work as needed.

The post holder will work with families at home, school and in the Hub, delivering preventative, relationship-based support and developing family-led plans in collaboration with the Family Links

Qualifications

• Relationship-based, preventative support to families.
• Ability to assess needs and strengths, develop family-led support plans.
• Practical and emotional assistance to improve access to services.

Responsabilités

• Build trusting relationships with children, young people, parents and carers.
• Undertake holistic assessments and review family-led support plans.
• Provide practical and emotional support addressing mental health, poverty, isolation and wellbeing.
• Work flexibly across homes, schools, and community settings including the Hub.
• Develop and deliver group sessions and community initiatives for families.
• Coordinate with partners to strengthen referral pathways and share information appropriately.
