A leading mental health provider is seeking a Band 8a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join their multi-disciplinary CAMHS service in Bolton. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality assessments and interventions, oversee the psychotherapy pathway, and provide support to families and young people. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Band 8a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join our multi disciplinary CAMHS service in Bolton. Consideration will also be given to newly qualified Family and Systemic Psychotherapists or those approaching qualification, for whom this would be a development post moving to a Band 8a following 2 years post qualification and preceptorship.
The postholder will be expected to ensure delivery and development of a high-quality specialist assessment and intervention offer underpinned by a systemic framework to compliment the range of psychological/therapeutic services within the multi-disciplinary service. They will work mainly within Bolton CAMHS with the expectation for working across the wider GMMH CAMHS division as required. they will offer a specialist service directly to families and young people and also via consultation with system partners and within Bolton CAMHS. They will provide assessment, consultation, training, supervision, groups and individual interventions for young people and their families.
This is a lead role and as such postholders will be expected to hold oversight of the Family and Systemic Psychotherapy pathway in Bolton and liaise closely with other leads in the service to manage this effectively., To work as part of GMMH CAMHS division and Specialist Services care group, with specific responsibility for oversight of and delivery to the Systemic Psychotherapy offer in Bolton CAMHS, as part of the Bolton multi-disciplinary team.

The Trust mandates all post holders who require a DBS for their role to subscribe to the DBS Update Service. You will be required to enrol for this service for a fee of £16 per year and maintain registration throughout your employment with GMMH.
