Faculty Technician

Full Time

Slough

A versatile and reliable Faculty Technician is required to support one or more subject areas. The role involves preparing equipment, maintaining resources, assisting teaching staff, and ensuring the smooth technical delivery of lessons.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and organise technical and practical resources for lessons (for example, Science, Design & Technology, ICT).
  • Maintain and manage equipment and ensure safe working practices.
  • Support teaching staff with demonstrations and classroom setups.
  • Monitor stock levels and liaise with external suppliers where necessary.

  • Good technical aptitude and understanding of relevant equipment.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
