Overview

Are you an experienced and dynamic FactoryOperative looking for your next permanent role?

We are currently recruiting an Operative to join our friendly team at our Linford Block Plant, which is located close to Stanford-le-Hope in Essex, this will be working on a 24/7 shift basis.

The site is easily accessible from Tilbury, Gravesend, Rochester, Gillingham, Dartford, Purfleet on Thames, Grays, Wickford, Southend-on-Sea, Basildon, Brentwood, Billericay and the surrounding areas.

Our Linford Plant manufactures sustainable, tough and energy efficient aerated blocks that we see all around us, whether this be in our homes or our work environments, you are never too far away from one of our products.

Responsibilities

In the role of Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Meeting daily production target requirements
• Reporting of data for quality purposes
• Moving, loading and unloading product from the plant and vehicles
• Meeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround
• Continuous Improvement of performance standards
• Continuous improvement towards plant and production methods
• Good housekeeping

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within an industrial, factory or similar environment as a Fork Lift Truck Operative,Multi-Skilled Operative or Labourer. However, the experience of working in a team, good communication skills and a willingness to learn are more important as full training can be provided.
