Overview

T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join our Client on a temporary to permanent basis in Shepshed.

Factory Operative Job Details

• £12.50 per hour to start rising to £13.50 per hour when permanent
• 39 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 7am-4.30pm & Friday 7am-11.15am
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays increasing to 33 days after 12 weeks

Factory Operative Role & Responsibilities

• Working on auto saws and clipper saw cutting bricks - full training will be given
• Using various hand tools
• Ensuring the correct materials are being used
• Loading products onto drying trucks
• Recording the amount/type of bricks made each day
• Working to targets
• All other associated tasks as required by the Factory Manager

Person Specification

• The role involves general labouring so you must be physically fit
• Able to stand for the duration of your shift and happy to complete repetitive duties
• Co-ordination of hand and eye movements is necessary to produce a good quality product
• A good team player
• Strong attention to detail with good Quality Control skills
