Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting an Industrial Cleaner to join the Mars site in Birstall. The role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, with a pattern Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm.

You will clean factory and production areas in a busy food production environment, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health and safety, and working as part of a team.

Rate of pay is £12.80 per hour, with Sodexo offering resources and benefits to colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in industrial, manufacturing or food production environments.
• Reliable and hardworking with high cleanliness standards.
• Strong focus on health and safety.
• Ability to follow procedures and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out industrial, factory and high-level cleaning to required hygiene standards.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks while minimising disruption to production.
• Use cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals safely and correctly.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report faults or hazards.
• Follow Sodexo health & safety, hygiene and security procedures.
• Support additional and emergency cleaning when needed.
