Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Industrial Cleaner for a busy manufacturing site in Hyde. This temporary to permanent role involves maintaining high cleanliness standards across the factory, production areas and machinery to ensure a safe, efficient working environment.

Shifts run Monday to Thursday from 6:00am to 4:00pm, and Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm. The role requires reliable, diligent workers with good attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, factory, or manufacturing cleaning environments.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures in an industrial setting.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Capable of performing manual cleaning duties.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean factory floors, production areas, and workstations.
• Clean and sanitise industrial machinery and equipment.
• Manage and clear spillages safely and efficiently.
• Remove waste and follow designated disposal procedures.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards across the site.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals per safety procedures.
• Support production teams by keeping areas clean, safe and operational.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to management.
