Job summary

Interaction Recruitment seeks a reliable Factory Cleaner for Thriplow, Cambridgeshire. The role is Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, £13.00 per hour, with weekly pay and a genuine temp-to-perm progression.

The successful candidate will maintain cleanliness across factory production areas, warehouses, and staff facilities, and must have a driving licence and own transport due to location.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving licence and access to own vehicle due to location.
• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in factory/industrial environments.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking; comfortable with physical duties.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning throughout the factory and production areas.
• Sweeping, mopping and cleaning factory floors.
• Cleaning warehouse and storage areas.
• Cleaning staff toilets, kitchens, canteens and changing rooms.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
• Cleaning work surfaces, communal areas and walkways.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Following health & safety and site hygiene procedures.
• Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely.
• Reporting maintenance issues or health & safety concerns.
• Supporting additional cleaning duties as required.

Factory Cleaner – Temp to Perm

Location: Thriplow, Cambridgeshire
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm

My client is currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Factory Cleaner to join their busy and well-established manufacturing business based in Thriplow, Cambridgeshire.

This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment and is looking for a stable, long-term position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the factory, including production areas, warehouse spaces, communal areas and staff facilities.

IMPORTANT: Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have their own transport due to the location of the site and lack of public transport links.

Duties Will Include:

• General cleaning throughout the factory and production areas
• Sweeping, mopping and cleaning factory floors
• Cleaning warehouse and storage areas
• Cleaning staff toilets, kitchens, canteens and changing rooms

• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised workplace
• Good understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards
• Flexible and willing to clean different areas of the factory
