Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking an operative for a shop-floor production role in a factory setting. You will prepare items to specifications and complete assembly steps under trained supervision, using relevant tools.

Maintain and oil air tools daily, handle materials safely, and follow processes to ensure quality with minimal rework. Standard hours are 7am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday, and you will represent the company professionally both in the factory and at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and/or power tools is desirable.
• Commitment to safety and clean, tidy work environment.
• Willingness to follow processes and work in a factory setting.

Responsibilities

• Prep items according to supplied specifications and procedures.
• Complete assembly production steps once trained using relevant tools.
• Maintain all associated prep equipment to ensure they remain in good working order.
• Ensure all air tools oiled on a daily basis.
• Ensure any materials used on the shop floor and in the production processes are handled and used in a responsible manner.
• Follow required operational processes to ensure that a quality product is achieved and minimal secondary work required.
• To always work in a tidy manner.
• To operate machinery and work in a safe manner considerate of your colleagues and health & safety procedures.
• Ensure that all chemicals and materials are stored and used in a safe manner.
• Clean working area on a regular basis through the day in line with cleaning processes and procedures.
• Adhere to both the company and any customer’s site drug & alcohol policy.
• Represent Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in a professional manner both in the factory and on customers’ site.
