Job summary

Sulzer Leeds site is seeking a Factored Buyer to join our Supply Chain team, driving end-to-end procurement of factored and engineered products. You will raise purchase orders, build strong supplier relationships and manage delivery, quality, and cost expectations across the globe.

You will monitor supplier performance, resolve shortages, and negotiate pricing and terms. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

Must have proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively.
Experience purchasing engineered components or fabricated products is advantageous.
Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills are essential.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end procurement for factored and engineered products.
Raise and manage purchase orders in line with business requirements.
Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure delivery, quality and cost targets.
Monitor supplier performance and mitigate shortages and risks.
Negotiate pricing, lead times and terms to deliver value.
Support supplier selection, qualification and development.
Collaborate with Production Planning to ensure material availability.
