Job summary

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners plc is seeking a Facilities & Utilities Technician for our Birmingham site. You will own a wide range of critical utility systems, supporting safe, reliable operation and continuous improvement with a small, skilled team.

You will maintain boilers, compressors, HVAC, water treatment and other plant equipment, diagnose faults, and coordinate contractor work while upholding safety and compliance at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience within facilities maintenance, utilities engineering, site services, plant maintenance or a similar engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of utility systems such as boilers, compressors, Heating, Ventilation, Air, Conditioning, water treatment, cooling systems or industrial plant equipment.
• Experience working within manufacturing, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, utilities, waste management, facilities management or other process-led industrial environments.
• A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple tasks and maintain high levels of ownership and accountability.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
• A safety-first mindset with experience of contractor management, permit-to-work systems and working within highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance, inspections and asset care activities across site utility and facilities equipment, including boilers, compressors, cooling towers, Heating, Ventilation, Air, Conditioning, water treatment and associated plant.
• Responding to equipment breakdowns and maintenance issues, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to minimise downtime and maximise reliability.
• Supporting compliance activities through routine checks, statutory inspections, permit-to-work processes and accurate maintenance record keeping.
• Managing and coordinating specialist contractors, including raising permits, reviewing quotations and ensuring work is completed safely and to the required standards.
• Monitoring the performance, reliability and safe operation of critical site services such as ammonia systems, fire protection equipment, effluent systems and metered utilities.
• Working closely with Engineering, Production and external partners to ensure utility systems consistently support site operations and business objectives.
