Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Technician to support operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs across commercial buildings. The role covers equipment services, preventive maintenance, and compliance with safety standards in assigned properties.

The technician will assist with installations, repairs, and upgrades across HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and finishing trades, and may perform on-call duties during priority or emergency situations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, electrical, mechanical devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Replace and repair ceilings, doors, walls, piping and floors as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests as assigned.
• Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems as assigned.
• May perform carpentry and snow removal when necessary.
