As Facilities Team Leader, you will supervise the maintenance of our buildings, grounds, and infrastructure. Working closely with the Head of Facilities, you will help ensure that our facilities are safe, clean, and well‑kept.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, hands‑on manager who can improve operational efficiency while upholding high service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee facilities upkeep to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance.
  • Supervise the maintenance team, assign tasks, manage performance, and provide guidance.
  • Maintain and update the electronic job portal with accurate information from contractors, the team, and the Head of Facilities.
  • Conduct daily job status checks for effective scheduling and timely task resolution.
  • Liaise with contractors and the team to ensure effective management of expectations.
  • Order necessary parts in advance of job due dates.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of job progress and outstanding tasks.
  • Source and compare quotes to secure competitive rates and drive cost savings.
  • Monitor KPIs, generate weekly progress reports, and communicate updates.
  • Ensure the team has the necessary tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Support the ongoing development and training of the facilities team.
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across all sites.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and government regulations.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date SOPs and a training matrix for facility operations.

  • Exceptional communication and influencing abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Experienced in supervising teams and managing performance.
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
