Pharmacy Courierneeded at Princess ofWales Community Hospital. Permanent, full-time position exclusively providing courier services.Please note that porter duties are not part of this specific role.

Main duties of the job

Join ourteams, we pride ourselves in providing outstanding care to patients acrossHerefordshire and Worcestershire. We will provide you with resources to developand progress a long-term career to include flexibility, continual professionaldevelopment as well as a wide range of wellbeing and support.

Working alongside clinical teams and infection control, Courier teamsprovide local and regional logistics to support the day to day running ofhospital services across two counties. Duties will require you to work to schedules andprocedures to ensure a smooth operation acrossmultiple departments.

You will form part of a team providing comprehensive Courierservices. Tasks will include transportand collection / delivery of mail, specimens, pharmacy etc., both on site andto other sites as required. Whenassigned to undertake courier duties a vehicle will be supplied and must be maintainedto ensure it remains roadworthy and fit for use by others.

On some days, you may spend time lone working and aspart of a team on others. The role isvaried as no two days are the same.

Inreturn, you will receive full support, training, and guidance to enable you tofulfil the role and undertake these duties.
