A regional healthcare trust in Redhill seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to manage the housekeeping team and ensure cleanliness and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to the organization's values. Our Housekeeping Supervisors support a large team of Housekeepers and Ward Hosts who are responsible for maintaining high levels of cleanliness throughout the Trust and delivering a first class meal and beverage service to our patients.
You need to be confident and flexible, with an ability to think on your feet. Staying calm in challenging situations and reacting positively to the ever changing needs of the service is paramount. This is a busy, physically active role where excellent communication is at the center of everything you do.

Provide a good level of supervision for the first class team working in the Facilities department. have a good understanding of cleaning, auditing, training and developing staff.

Successful candidates will be appointed to the first pay step within the band when they start with the Trust (unless they have previous relevant NHS continuous service), thereafter individuals will progress up the pay steps in accordance with NHS Agenda for Change (AfC) terms and conditions. For part time roles you will receive a pro rata'd (proportional) salary payment based on the appropriate pay step/point and hours worked in accordance with AfC and all medical and dental terms and conditions.
