About The Role

Facilities Supervisor

Moreton on Lugg, Herefordshire, United Kingdom

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Pattern: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm (Approximately one week in every six will include 24/7 on-call duties)

Location: Reporting to Moreton on Lugg but will be required to work across sites: Headoffice, Warehouse and off site depot.

The Role Scope

In this role, you’ll be at the Centre of our Facilities and Maintenance operations. From scheduling work and managing JIRA tasks, to supervising contractors and keeping our site compliant and safe, you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly day-to-day. You’ll work closely with our FM team, support key Site Services functions, and play an important part in keeping the site operating effectively — including occasional on-call support for urgent issues.

Key responsibilities

• ✨Control task requests via JIRA, keeping FM and customer updated on progress
• ✨Manage allocation and scheduling of job tasks to Facilities and Maintenance operatives
• ✨Book Preventative Maintenance and maintain the PPM records for premises and equipment
• ✨Carry out site inductions for suppliers, contractors and visitors as required
• ✨Engage ’Approved Contractors’ and ensure risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are appropriate prior to commencement of task
• ✨Ensure contractors work in accordance with the supplied RAMS
• ✨Issue Permits to Work and maintain PTW log for contractor/Maintenance Op as appropriate (all sites)
• ✨Ensure all contractors and Maintenance Ops work safely and adhere to site rules / H&S Regulations
• ✨Ensure all equipment remains compliant and certification records maintained
• ✨Ensure sites are prepared for adverse weather conditions (snow, ice, darkness)
• ✨Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues involving the facilities, this may be required out of hours (part of the out of hours rota for on-call duties)
• ✨Responsible for the supervision of the facilities and maintenance teams
• ✨Ensure facilities and maintenance adhere to COSHH requirements and are suitably trained on chemical usage
• ✨Support the management of linked departments under Site Services; Cleaning, Canteen and Security
