Overview

We\'re currently recruiting a dedicated Back of House Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in CH&CO on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

What you need to know before applying

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising the kitchen porter and stores teams, ensuring high standards are maintained in all areas including pot wash, plate wash, and general cleanliness.
  • Ensuring that all daily and weekly checklists, food safety documentation, and due diligence records are completed accurately and on time.
  • Supporting with goods receipting, putting deliveries away, and maintaining clear and organised stores.
  • Monitoring and encouraging cross-team support, ensuring that when team members have completed their tasks, they assist other departments as needed.
  • Leading by example to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, especially at the end of each shift.
  • Overseeing staff training, including ensuring all e-learning modules are completed and up to date.

  • Hand on approach to the role
  • Previous supervisory experience in a kitchen or BOH environment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, stock handling, and due diligence processes.
  • Confident team leader with excellent organisational and communication skills.
