Job description

We are seeking an organised and proactive Facilities & Site Logistics Supervisor to join our team at the Sutton site, including the Oak Cancer Centre. This is a vital supervisory role responsible for coordinating and supporting a wide range of operational services that keep our hospital running smoothly. The successful candidate will oversee portering, security, and will offer support to our reception services and Helpdesk functions, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. You will play a key role in supporting patient flow, responding to emergencies, and providing leadership and guidance to frontline staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, a commitment to patient-centred service, and experience in leading teams within a busy facilities or logistics environment. Responsibilities
  • Manage the Portering, Post Room Security staff and CarParking Teams on all aspects of their work, ensuring the highest levels of performance consistent with the Trust Core Values and support the Management Team in the smooth running of the service.
  • Assist in overseeing the logistics of postal service and distribution of goods, materials, furniture and equipment.
  • Assist in providing facilitation of any site management requirements requiring logistical support.
  • Able to work across both sites and to be flexible to meet the needs of the service as and when required.
