The Discovery Academy is seeking a Facilities Assistant to join its Facilities Team. The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance, uphold high standards of care, and help ensure building security, while engaging with staff and students.

Excellent spoken English is essential, with clear communication across the Academy community. The role offers a full year, 37-hour week schedule with an actual salary range of £25,185–£26,403 per year.

Qualifications

• Proven industry experience in routine maintenance.
• Strong commitment to high standards of workplace care.
• Good understanding of building security protocols.
• Effective verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine general maintenance tasks across the Academy.
• Support the Facilities Team in maintaining building safety and security.
• Engage with staff, students and visitors, providing assistance as needed.
