Job summary

Amey Ltd is seeking a permanent Plumber for HMP Brinsford in Wolverhampton. The role is 39 hours per week, with shifts 07:45–16:45 Mon-Thu and 07:45–15:45 Fri, plus 1 in 4 weekends on a rota and 1 in 12 weeks on-call.

Base salary ranges £30,866–£36,135 depending on experience, with an additional weekend allowance of 15%. You will perform routine and non-routine maintenance, mains water repairs, fault finding, inspections, water sampling and risk assessment, and other duties as required.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 in Plumbing and Heating with experience in plumbing maintenance.
• Experience in operating light plant
• Legionella awareness and compliance is desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in a commercial environment

Responsibilities

• Routine and non-routine maintenance.
• Mains water supply repairs.
• Fault finding Identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
• Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
• Any other duties commensurate with the role.
