Facilities Operative – Ward Catering – Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to work in the Kitchen/Catering service. The hours will be 18 per week, 13:00 – 19:30 over various days, working 2 weekends in 4.

Overview

Applicants will play a key role in providing a high level of customer service, enhancing the patient and customer experience. The role does not meet Home Office criteria for a certificate of sponsorship, so the position is only open to candidates who do not require sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑level customer service and enhance the patient & customer experience.
• Work flexibly within the Kitchen/Catering service, covering rosters and duties as required.
• Support flexible working arrangements and flexible roster coverage.

Requirements

• Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
• Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
• Must be able to work 18 per week, 13:00 – 19:30 over various days with 2 weekend days in a 4‑day cycle.
• Must have a willingness and ability to work flexibly and cover roster duties.
