Job summary

Jobtrain is seeking a motivated Facilities Team member to deliver a range of customer-focused facilities support and premises services for our hospice site in London. You will perform audits, maintain safe and tidy premises, assist with deliveries, and support retail outlets while coordinating with contractors.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, hands-on maintenance skills, and a proactive, calm, professional approach. On-site parking and meals are provided where available.

Qualifications

• Experience providing facilities support.
• Good handyperson and maintenance experience.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Undertake premises audits and inspections.
• Ensure hospice premises are maintained in a safe and tidy condition.
• Assist with incoming and outgoing deliveries.
• Undertake porterage duties delivering room furniture layouts.
• Support all retail outlets.
• Provide a first-line access control/security presence at specified properties.
• Co-ordinate with contractors where required.
• Undertake health and safety duties.
• Respond to incidents.
• Help our group of volunteer gardeners with various jobs.
