Job summary

NBCUniversal invites applications for a 12-month Facilities & Operations Internship in their Central London office. You will support a busy projects team across workplace projects, real estate transactions, and facilities management, gaining hands-on experience from day-to-day operations to office relocations and new builds.

Job description

Programme Eligibility

To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:

• You're currently an undergraduate studying at University and returning to full time education in Autumn 2028
• You're looking to gain work experience after completing your A-Levels, an equivalent course or an Apprenticeship

Additionally, you must also:

• Be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 5th July 2027 - Friday 21st July 2028
• Be able to work in NBCUniversal's Central London office on-site five days per week

What will I be doing?

• As a Facilities & Operations Intern, you will be supporting a busy projects team, responsible for all aspects of workplace-related projects, real estate transactions and facilities management.
• You’ll get hands-on experience with both routine day to day operations, such as financial management and lease administration, and dynamic projects, like office relocations, refurbishments, and new builds.
• You will have exposure to all areas of the business, helping to understand the differing needs of each business unit and how to deliver both consistent, BAU (Business as usual) services and best-in-class, innovative workplaces.
• Facilities & Operations Intern working closely with - International GRE (Global Real Estate), International Projects, Transactions, Workplace & Space Planning, BCCM (Business Continuity & Crisis Management), EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety), Security & Finance.

• Strong Interpersonal skills - team player and confident liaising with people at varying levels within the business

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines - decisive and effective even under pressure.
• Hands on - many aspects of this role will not be desk based!
• Comfortable working with data / number crunching, analysing stats and producing reports
• Willingness to learn new and adapt to new ways of working
