Job summary

East Renfrewshire Council is seeking a permanent Facilities Team member to help maintain clean, safe, and secure buildings for customers, visitors and colleagues. The post reports to the Provost Aide/Supervisor and includes assisting and managing the team’s work rotas, with deputising duties as required and some driving tasks for the Provost.

You should be IT literate, have relevant training for the role, and hold a valid clean driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or care settings preferred.
• IT literate with proficiency in basic software.
• Valid clean driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and manage work rotas for the Facilities Team.
• Support and deputise for the Provost Aide Supervisor as required.
• Undertake driving duties for the Provost when needed.
