• Undertaking scheduled installations & maintenance.
• Fault finding, diagnosis & carrying out repair or replacement of equipment.
• Managing stock & supplies of equipment.

Job description

TXM Recruit is currently working with a private property management company that provides a dedicated VIP service to worldwide clientele. They are seeking an experienced Facilities Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Chertsey.

Salary: £45,000 + OT. Hours: 40 per week (8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm) with flexibility during peak summer months. Overtime: 1.5× over 40 hours and unlimited allowed. Extras: 1 in 4 weekends which includes a call‑out rota (May‑October). Location: Southall.

Key Responsibilities

• Operation & maintenance of H&V plant, including pumps, motors, actuators etc.
• Daily boiler room & plant checks.
• Maintaining commercial kitchen plant & equipment.
• Carry out works on LV electrical installations, including install, fault finding & general maintenance.
• Undertaking scheduled installations & maintenance on the above.
• Fault finding, diagnosis & carrying out repair or replacement of equipment.
• Managing stock & supplies of equipment; source materials from local suppliers and manufacturers.
