Facilities Manager 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Hybrid Working

Salary up to 40000 plus car allowance and benefits.

We are working with a forward-thinking property management company that is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee a mixed-use portfolio across Kent and Surrey. This role requires monthly and quarterly site visits and one day per week at the client's HQ with the rest of the time spent working from home; ultimately youll have full autonomy over your diary. This is initially a 12-month fixed-term contract but there is potential for it to become permanent.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee a portfolio of properties and take ownership of producing and managing multiple service charge budgets.
  • Ensure each site remains fully compliant with health and safety requirements and make effective use of the on-site H&S systems.
  • Manage and monitor contractor performance across your buildings.
  • Handle reactive issues in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining strong relationships with occupiers and ensuring their day-to-day needs are supported professionally and proactively.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience managing a portfolio of mixed-use or commercial assets.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage with tenants and build relationships with clients.
  • Experience in producing or managing service charge budgets is advantageous.
  • Ideally hold a minimum of an IOSH certificate.
  • Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle due to travel requirements.
