A local council in the United Kingdom seeks FM Assistants to provide janitorial support at various establishments. Responsibilities include building operations, property compliance, and ensuring minimal disruption to activities. Candidates must be willing to undergo PVG checks for working with vulnerable groups. This is a permanent role with varied shifts.

To join a team of FM Assistants providing direct janitorial support to staff, students, clients and members of the community at establishments within designated areas.
To undertake duties relating to the operation of the building, surrounding grounds, property compliance checks, open/close, security, delivery of school meals, ensuring minimal disruption to the daily activities of establishment users.
Shifts times are 0600-1400 and 1200-2000 Mon-Thu and 1000-1800 Fri
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
