Description

As Facilities & Maintenance Scheduler you’ll schedule internal and external works orders using the CMMS system and support the team with administrative tasks as required.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Department: Facilities

Interview process: 2‑stage process following shortlisting – first stage: 1‑hour Teams interview; second stage: 2‑hour onsite interview.

There are now 22 facilities across the world in 9 countries. Here in Ely we are responsible for the Motion Control and Optical Tables product line.

Where you will be working

Our purpose‑built facility is just 12 miles from Cambridge within the beautiful medieval city of Ely. There are train and bus links to Ely from Kings Cross and Liverpool Street London and our site is within distance of Ely train station and Ely Bus station.

Requirements
  • Experience with Maintenance Management systems such as CMMS systems
  • Experience with ERP systems

  • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment dealing with people from various disciplines
What we would like you to do / to see
  • Schedule works orders using our CMMS system to direct work to our Facilities and Maintenance team.
  • Obtain quotes for parts contractors and Service Contracts.
  • Schedule and book contractor works orders and ensure all paperwork is obtained and filed on completion.
  • Data entry and management within our CMMS system.
  • Manage all contracts with our vendors within the scope of Facilities and Maintenance activities.
  • Take photos of plant/assets and maintain assets within the CMMS system.
  • Work with relevant team members to manage spare parts stock, including cataloguing and labelling parts and locations.
  • Support the team Buyer when required to raise purchase orders and manage associated processes.
  • Support our TPM initiative and other facilities/maintenance projects.
  • Support with other administrative tasks for our facilities and maintenance team as directed by the team manager.
