Our client is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Operative to join their team in Knowsley. This role is key to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented environment for staff and visitors. The successful candidate will be hands‑on with general maintenance, decorating, and supporting facilities tasks across the site.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out reactive repairs as issues arise across the facility
  • Perform painting and decorating of both interior and exterior areas
  • Support facilities activities such as assembling furniture, moving equipment, and grounds maintenance
  • Undertake general maintenance tasks including fixing leaks, repairing windows, repairing furniture, and clearing blockages
  • Ensure correct use of materials, equipment, and safety signage in all tasks
  • Monitor and report issues promptly, highlighting concerns to the line manager or QHSE Manager as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities, including sign‑off sheets
  • Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times
  • Work effectively with colleagues across all departments to support operations
