Job summary

Associ8 Solutions is seeking a Facilities Maintenance / Site Services Engineer for a busy commercial site in the UK. This hands-on role covers preventative maintenance, repairs, system upgrades, and safety compliance to keep operations running smoothly.

You will diagnose issues across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems, logging activities and producing reports. The ideal candidate has NVQ/HNC/City & Guilds, a trade apprenticeship with 5+ years' experience, and strong

Qualifications

Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC or City & Guilds) required.
Completed trade apprenticeship with 5+ years' experience.
Strong knowledge of building services and automation systems.

Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and servicing of equipment and building systems.
Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix issues across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general infrastructure.
System Upgrades: Recommend and implement improvements for efficiency and performance.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all systems meet health and safety standards and maintain accurate records.
Documentation & Reporting: Log all maintenance activities and generate reports on facility conditions.
Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to urgent issues to minimise disruption and ensure safety.
