CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Southampton is seeking an experienced Fabric Technician to join our team. You will deliver planned and reactive building fabric maintenance across a professional commercial environment, completing a varied range of repairs and minor works.

You will help keep the site safe, presentable and fully operational, with responsibilities including carpentry, plumbing, painting and small works, and you will work closely with facilities staff to ensure timely,

Qualifications

• Practical multi-skilled background including general repairs, minor carpentry, plumbing and making good.
• Confidence performing minor painting, decorating and finishing works when required.
• Experience in high-profile or client-facing environments.
• Good knowledge of building fabric systems and common maintenance issues.
• Solid health and safety understanding, including working at height and risk assessments.
• Attention to detail and pride in high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills to build positive client/colleague relationships.
• Self-motivated, organised, capable of workload management.

Responsabilités

• Complete minor carpentry, basic plumbing, patch repairs, making good and general building repairs.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, handles, hinges, fixtures, fittings and furniture.
• Replace ceiling tiles, floor coverings, sealants and other building fabric items as required.
• Carry out minor painting, decorating and touch-up works as needed.
• Complete routine inspections, identify defects and take corrective action.
• Support small works and office moves.

What We're Looking For:
