Job summary

Jackson Hogg are delighted to partner with a Global client to appoint a Facilities & Energy Engineer on a permanent basis. This hybrid role focuses on operation, maintenance and improvement of site infrastructure and utilities at a COMAH production facility, with a competitive base salary and excellent benefits.

You will manage energy contracts, coordinate contractors, and drive energy efficiency projects and compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience managing facilities and utilities in a COMAH-regulated environment.
• Time served Engineer with strong regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Contractor management and site coordination experience.
• Familiarity with CMMS software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage energy contracts and suppliers; monitor energy performance and drive cost reductions.
• Liaise with external contractors to deliver maintenance and compliance works; collect RAMS and issue permits.
• Create and manage the Facilities & Energy budget; track expenditures.
• Plan and deliver site infrastructure projects and upgrades.
• Lead utilities maintenance and improvement activities across the site.
• Oversee HVAC/AHU systems, plumbing and drainage maintenance and improvements.

This role will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and improvement of site infrastructure and utilities on a COMAH production facility.

Job Description

• Managing energy contracts and suppliers, monitoring site energy performance, and leading optimisation initiatives to reduce energy consumption and cost in line with company sustainability goals.
• Liaising with external contractors and suppliers to deliver maintenance and compliance works, including collection of RAMS, preparation and issuing of work permits.
• Creating and being responsible for actively managing and tracking Facilities & Energy budget.
• Planning and delivering site infrastructure projects.
• Leading, managing and co‑ordinating utilities maintenance and improvement
• Leading, managing and co‑ordinating maintenance and improvement on HVAC and AHU systems, plumbing, and drainage networks
• Creating, managing, and maintaining accurate maintenance records and schedules

Skills Required

• Experience managing facilities and utilities within a high-hazard or COMAH-regulated environment.
• Time served Engineer
• Good understanding of statutory and regulatory compliance for industrial facilities.
• Competent in contractor management and site coordination.
• Familiarity with CMMS software preferred.
