LGC Limited, an ISO-accredited life sciences company with a UK facility in Oxford, seeks an experienced Facilities and EHS lead. You will drive the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of buildings, infrastructure and lab equipment while leading safety programs in compliance with UK legislation and company policies.

You will manage contractor relationships, risk assessments, inspections and staff development, coordinating with the EHS Manager and site leadership to ensure

Qualifications

• Experience managing facilities and EHS in regulated manufacturing, laboratory, biotech or life-sciences environments.
• Practical knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation and best practices.
• Experience coordinating risk assessments, incident investigations, inspections and corrective actions.
• Experience supervising or line managing employees and supporting their development.
• Ability to read and interpret technical, safety and compliance documentation.

Responsabilités

• Lead all site facilities activities: operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of buildings, infrastructure and equipment.
• Develop planned preventive maintenance programmes for facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate facilities service contracts including cleaning, waste, security and utilities.
• Manage office accommodation, workspace planning and improvement projects.
• Support capital projects, equipment installations and qualification work.
• Maintain accurate facility documentation and asset registers for ISO9001.
• Lead EHS programmes as site lead, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and LGC policies.
