JMT is seeking a Construction Manager to be responsible for managing facility construction or rehabilitation projects, including coordination with designers and contractors, potentially assigned field staff and sub-consultants assigned to projects. Coordination may also be required on Federal construction projects with General Services Administration (GSA), National Parks Services (NPS), United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Navy Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and some other agencies within and supporting the Federal Government. Applicants with a Transit and Rail background are also encouraged to apply for this position. Some marketing and proposal development from a technical perspective will be a function of this role, an understanding of business development, including Federal Procurement will be value added. Working Conditions
Work is performed in both an office and field (construction) environment. Office to field time is approximately 25% to 75% respectively. Field work requires climbing, walking and standing at a construction site and may be outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 50 lbs) may be required. Travel may be required.
