We've got an opportunity for a Facilities Co-ordinator to come and join our friendly and dedicated team.

We're looking for someone who can bring with them with the skills, knowledge and experience to make sure that Mottisfont Abbey operates as it should, whilst helping us to run an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service. This, in turn, means the property team is able to meet their goals and keep standards high for all the people who work at, visit and love the place.

What it's like to work here

You’ll be working in a busy visitor operation which is open 7 days per week and will be expected to work on some bank holidays and weekend days (agreed in advance) and dependant on operational requirements.

Mottisfont Abbey is a National Trust property in Hampshire, England which sits within a 1,600-acre estate in a beautiful, sheltered valley of the River Test and currently attracts in the region of 350,000 visitors a year. Mottisfont is near the charming market town of Romsey, known for its rich history and vibrant community. The town's market is a hub of activity, offering a variety of goods and services.

What you'll be doing

You will also be part of a weekday duty management rota and will interact with all teams onsite in a physically active role. On a typical day you may be meeting several different contractors through the day, walking them to the part of the site they are working on and supervising their work, plus responding to calls from different parts of the site to check on facilities issues. Some limited travel across the portfolio to check remote buildings and facilities may be required.
