Job summary

Tutbury site under Sodexo is seeking an Amenities Cleaner. You will perform a range of cleaning tasks across designated areas while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will follow training and safety procedures, use PPE, and report any faults or hazards promptly.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of cleaning duties across designated areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor or Manager.
• Follow the correct cleaning methods and procedures in line with training.
• Use cleaning products, materials and equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow colour-coding procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Follow COSHH, Health & Safety, environmental and site procedures at all times.
• Wear the appropriate PPE for the tasks you're carrying out.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for everyone on site.
• Take pride in allocated areas and maintain cleaning standards.
• Identify and report faults with cleaning machinery or equipment promptly.
• Report building defects, hazards or concerns to supervisor.
• Complete all required training to carry out duties safely and confidently.
• Work closely with colleagues and provide cleaning support when required.
